Operating systems

  • Arch linux: I have not really used any distributions other than arch linux, but i am very happy with it and as of now have no reason to change.
  • Graphene os: I use graphene os on a pixel 8. It was very easy to install, and has working the way i need it to.

Other

  • keyd: keyd is a keyboard remapper for linux that i have been using to get homerow mods, and optimizing my keyboard layout in general. Gruvbox: The theme i use for everything.
  • Hyprland: The window manager i use.
  • waybar: Statusbar i use for hyprland

Web

  • librewolf: The browser i use.
  • vimium: Vim in your browser.
  • unhook: Extension for removing recommended videos and other distracting features from Youtube.

Organization

Calendar

  • KOrganizer: After testing out a lot of calendar clients this is by far the most usable out of all, especially on hyprland compared to others.
  • Etar: The calendar client i have been using on my phone. I mostly use it for notifications and viewing, not so much planning, for that i use KOrganizer.

Tasks

  • task warrior: I use the task warrior cli. I used to use vit as a wrapper but after some time it felt unnecessary, so now i stick with the cli.
  • taskopen: taskwarrior script that lets you add notes to tasks and edit them in your $EDITOR

Email

XMPP

  • Prosody: The XMPP server i am currently running.
  • dino: The XMPP client i use on linux desktop and the only one i have found with any ok call and video support on linux.
  • conversations: The XMPP client i use on my phone.

Other

  • signal: Currently i am using signal for most of my communication.

Other

  • scrcpy: Lets you control and view your phone over adb. Very helpful for screensharing your phone.
